Brokering
Export and import of military material and dual-use goods under our license, for companies that are not authorized to trade in military material under Act No. 38/1994 Coll., or that prefer not to deal with the complications and risks of importing and exporting dual-use goods themselves.
Licensed by the Czech government
to perform deals in defense and security systems.
You make it. We move it legally.
Trading in military material from the Czech Republic requires a license under Act No. 38/1994 Coll. CEI holds that authorization. We mediate exports and imports of all types of military material for Czech-based companies that are not licensed themselves, and for foreign companies that process material in Czech factories.
You keep your production and your customer. We take care of the license, the documents and the communication with the authority, and we stay accountable for the trade.
Three ways we move controlled goods
Every brokering assignment follows one of three routes. We hold the license, prepare the documents and stay accountable to the authority.
Type 1 · Import for processing, then re-export
Import of military semi-products to the Czech Republic for refinement or processing, and their export once the work is done. Typical for a foreign company that outsources some of its processes to Czech factories.
Type 2 · Export of final products and components
Export of final products or components classified as military goods under Act No. 38/1994 Coll. Typical for companies based in the Czech Republic that are not authorized to trade in military goods in their own name.
Type 3 · Export for processing, then re-import
Export of military semi-products from the Czech Republic to third countries for refinement or processing, and their import back once the work is done. Typical for a local branch of an international group that outsources processing steps to factories across the EU.
Who we work for
Our typical clients come to us for one of three reasons.
You don't want the paperwork
Companies that prefer not to process imports or exports of military goods themselves because of the extensive paperwork and legal burden.
Your group rules say no
International companies that cannot get involved directly because of internal corporate rules.
Your license isn't ready yet
Companies starting a military project that are not yet authorized to carry out these activities themselves. We can help with the license, too.
Not sure your product is military material?
Whether goods fall under military material or dual-use rules decides which license applies. We assess it before anything is shipped.
